Pleasant staff, friendly locals, THE most eclectic selection of drinks. Whoever says traditional pubs is unprofitable has clearly never been to Cirencester.

Best pub pub in the area. The landlord proving that pubs can still be profitable without resorting to overpriced gastronomy with no room to socialise. Fine selection of cider, ale and stouts on regular rotation. The patio garden is good but,such an establishment Needs replicating out of town too. Possibly by woods, fields, some water and a village named after an item of clothing.
