Honestly pathetic but I'm guessing every GP in the UK is the same now. First time I've had to call the Dr's for nearly a decade for a bad cough that's now nearly 3 weeks old. Tried everything, it's not c19 so LAST RESORT call Dr's. "So you think this is an emergency and you need to see a Dr????" No, if I thought it was an emergency I would go to a hospital or call an ambulance which I'm clearly not going to do unless I'm about to die! Very patronising, I'm guessing they're being told to speak to people like this just to get them to hang up and go to emergency room for non emergency treatment. Time to go private because God forbid you did have to see a dr for something which could be dealt with before it became life threatening it clearly would not happen and you would end up suffering because of it

Very impressed by the service provided by a nurse at the practice today. My husband and I were booked in for shingles/pneumococcal vaccines. When we mentioned needing a routine test, she took the blood for that at the same time. Friendly and professional.

The GP I have seen recently has been really thorough and supportive. She has taken full and timely action WRT referrals that were needed. The nurse who did my bloods last week was friendly and thorough too. It’s a nice surgery to go to and timings have been good too.

A very merry Christmas and a happy New Year to everyone involved with the Surgery. There is a warm welcome and a smile on arrival at the surgery. Every patient is treated with dignity, kindness and respect by the wonderful ladies on reception. The doctors always treat me in a respectful, professional and dedicated manner. Everything is explained in detail in an understandable way and they always ensure that I understand their instructions. The nurses are amazing, polite and friendly. They are always empathetic and provide a wonderful service. The surgery is always clean and tidy and it is a pleasure to visit. I highly recommend The Market Place Surgery to everyone. An enormous thank you to all.
