The hotel was lovely and clean and we were greeted by a very well mannered young lady when we arrived, who also served us throughout the evening. The room we'd booked was very roomy and as we had our dog staying with us as well, it was perfect for our needs. The hotel itself had a very colonial Manor feel about it with sweeping grounds which served us well when exercising our dog. The evening meal was very nice and the service, exceptional. Unfortunationally breakfast was nit up to the same standard nor the service. Having to ask for sugar and butter long after tea/ coffee and toast were served. That said, having had a wonderful night sleep, this did not detract from our stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner recently for a surprise trip for my birthday. The hotel was so welcoming with beautiful decor, all the staff were extremely friendly, the room was lovely and cosy and the breakfasts and evening meal - absolutely delicious. We could not fault it at all and we can't wait to visit again. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Thank you.
