Interesting and quirky restaurant, with unusual meats on offer, including kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile. I had a kangaroo steak, and really enjoyed the gamey nature of it. Staff were friendly and attentive.

I need to say - I was never this disappointed by lack of professionalism and caring for customers. I had made a reservation in this restaurant to make sure my guest who came from abroad could have some exotic meat. When we turned up right on time we were kindly directed to the table and given our menus. It took the staff 15 minutes and two attempts to call them over to us - we felt uncared for, how can you call the waiter to take the order? Then when ordering out of 5 meats they were in the menu there was only one - kangaroo, which tasted like beef. We neither were asked how we want that meat. Raw, well done? "Yeah, just toss it on the plate they'll be happy". From ordering it took them some 45 minutes to bring the food even though there were only 10 people in the whole restaurant. Even little 3 bowls of fries were brought to us in 2 runs because they forgot about the last one. Cocktails? Forget it. "We'll have this. Sorry we don't have it. Ok, this then. We don't have this one neither. So what then? We have only these two" Yeah - certainly great choice of different African drinks :D That whole experience would be kinda "swallowable" if not the fact that we had reservation and the manager didn't even think about telling us that we literally "had no choice" in that restaurant. I'm not going there again.

One of the best places for food in Lancaster. The staff are very attentive and friendly, making you feel at home. The food itself is of another level, and coming from South Africa and trying the Bunny Chow it takes me back to SA that's how good the food is! The chef himself is amazing, very friendly and helpful and ready to answer any questions you have. Only a 2 minute walk from the train station, or if you drive there's a car park just around the corner that a 5 minute walk away from the restaurant. 10/10 would highly recommend giving it a go, or two... or three!

Food was great. We would have overlooked receiving orange squash instead of juice (they didn't have any or let us know), had it not been for being presented with the bill that had a 20% tip already added for a table for 2 and being notified that their card machine wasn't working, so cash or bank transfer only!! Highly recommend not using the toilets, as in a terrible state.
