I visited Mr Mcullough with Morton’s neuroma, and it was suggested that I undergo cryosurgery. My symptoms at the time were slight numbing of my foot after I played tennis for more than 90 minutes or so. I didn’t have any problem walking, in long hikes or in any other way except after long high impact exercise. I asked the doctor, specifically if there was any chance this might get worse with the procedure, as I could actually live with the symptoms well. He assured me that it wouldn’t. This was back in November. Fast forward six months later I can barely walk after 30 minutes of gentle walking. My toes excruciatingly hurt which is not a problem or pain area I had. The procedure messed up my foot nerves. Now I have to do proper surgery with a proper orthopaedic surgeon. Which is not something that I needed in the first place. This was a disaster and a costly one at almost £2000. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I had cryosurgery in February 2023 for a Mortons Neuroma that had gotten steadily worse since I was a teenager, I'm now 42. I was nervous of doing so as it's not a long established procedure. I did all the research I could about clinic and cryosurgery and eventually decided it was lower risk than open surgery so should be tried first. Coming to this decision took me 3 years, imminent birth of second child pushed me to get it done. In meantime the MN had got so bad I fell down some stairs as 'caught it wrong' and the pain was so intense. The procedure was quick and pain free, very odd sensation of anaesthesia is all. I hobbled around for a few days and had some soreness for a few weeks while it all healed. Once it had done so I eventually realised, after about 6 weeks, that I no pain whatsoever. Normal life has returned, I do not appear to have any symptoms or pain at all under any circumstances. No being much of a runner I've not tried this yet but basically under normal conditions I'd say this was a 100% cure for something that caused real pain after walks of as little as a mile and throbbing after a day in the office. This is an anecdote, not data, it may not work for everyone. I'm pleased to say it did for me. I think before you do anything else this should be tried though as there seems little to be lost. Thank you Ron and team for a life enhancing simple procedure. Wish I'd done it years ago when I first looked into it!

I was introduced to Ron McCulloch by Simon at the Gait & Posture Centre. I had been suffering from a painful heel and neuropathy for almost 3 years after a very bad bout of Plantar fasciitis from excessive walking during the Covid lockdowns. After trying so many things Ron recommended I try the Pulsed Radiofrequency. Which I did. It took a very long time to take effect (at least 6 weeks) but it is now definitely having a positive effect. Today I am 10 weeks post procedure and it’s slowly easing day by day. I would recommend this procedure to anyone as the risks seem very small.

I have found the LPC to be excellent. Really knowledgeable doctors with a well organised and efficient practice. They care and follow through with those under their care to get the best long term outcome. Also nice, down to earth, people.

Hi I was referred to this clinic from another podiatrist and was glad for the referral. I don't normally go private but the NHS said I would have to wait for one year before being seen. This clinic scheduled me in for the following week once I told them that I was travelling. In short, the service is professional. They do exactly what they say they will do. You are not kept waiting and there is a seamless process through triage, nurse and surgeon. The advise and paperwork about your condition is extremely informative. Everything they predicted about the timeframe for healing was spot-on. The service is not cheap - but it is definitely worth it. I would not hesitate to recommend the service to anyone who is suffering with a foot complaint. You will be very well looked after.

Did a brilliant job for me cutting back a cumbersome in-grown toe nail at short notice before I had to abroad. Really friendly and professional service and a resolution to the problem far more effectively and quickly than would be possible via GP, especially with current waiting times for surgery etc. Would highly recommend.

I had cryosurgery for a Morton’s neuroma. The outcome of the procedure has been excellent. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the unit and the care taken to explain the procedure. It has taken the 12 weeks to heal that they said it would, but I haven’t had to stay off my feet for much of that time. I am now back to doing the impact exercise that I enjoy, without pain.
