A Polymath's University. I should start this review by noting that I am an international student from Montreal, Canada. I was looking for an Interdisciplinary school for some time and LIS fits all of my criteria: -They have a good balance of scientific/mathematical courses and arts/humanities. Most Liberal Arts schools I looked-up had (in America) a humanities leaning, (in Europe) a scientific leaning. -They have long personal interviews with each potential student, which ensures that your cohort is of the best caliber. -They approach the subjects from a "Problems" perspective. From the first week you learn why and how different disciplines unite in the real world and learn methods that will be useful in your professional life - from day 1. -And other things like: they have already setup a foundation to financially support those who are underprivileged, they hand-picked every member of the faculty and they are phenomenal people from well-known universities across the globe, the space is well organized and has potential for expansion, there is coffee on every floor... etc Now what led me to write a 5-star review is the fact that when I arrived to the UK, I encountered a multitude of bureaucratic problems involving accommodation, airplane-luggage problems and issues with banking. The LIS faculty went above and beyond to help me solve these issues. Showing me first-hand views of their interdisciplinary approach. Efficiently and within a few hours I was on my feet, organized and set to pursue one of the best educations in the city of London. Cheers! Daniel
