We choose this hospital because of the consultant we are trust and he was brilliant and very knowledgeable .but sadly its the worst hospital experience for us because one of the day staff nurse who mean to be looking after my husband after the surgery for 2 days. I went to visit him about midday and found out he was been left in pain for 6 hours, his heart rate was 130 and oxygen level 91% with 4 litres oxygen on, his room was the end of the corridor with the door shut ,I mean I could found him dead in bed then no one would notice ! I was so upset and frustrated ,questioning like any human would do, but unfortunately she was too busy to tell me to leave as she said I was rude instead of to do something about it.And forgot to mention at the first day after the surgery, she come in to take off my husband oxygen and said she will be back to check in an hour see how it goes ,but No she never came back instead of a care worker come in 3 hours later ,told my husband off for not wearing the oxygen as his oxygen levels went too low?! I mean do your staff never talking to each or what ?anyway I found she was very rude unhelpful and unprofessional with a big ring on her finger , not wearing any gloves or PPE when she was attending to the patient, I wonder what the infection and control would say about this ? ! Also always delays on all the medications ,when she put up the drips or nebuliser Never comes back to check if it’s finish or not . I couldn’t imagine if I didn’t came and visit my husband in that day , he probably end up in the ICU or much worse . After all we are very much disappointed ,if I could give a 0 start I would and never want to come back again !

NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE at this place, I would definitely consider another hospital for private surgery. I had a gastric surgery, the surgeon was excellent I choose him my self I ended at this place because it was easier for my wife to collect me. Surgery all went fine but I was in severe pain afterwards for a day. Not all staff were unhelpful or uncaring, the night staff was excellent and very attentive. Day time was fairly difficult. I was not in a great way and was just left from when night staff left until lunchtime. My wife got frustrated a couple of times and especially when she saw me after being left all morning in a bad way. Rather than trying to calm the situation she was going to be asked to leave me if you can believe it. Half dead in the bed. After this I got some attention for half a day. Next day much the same as the previous but luckily I had improved a lot so got to go home thank god. I don't know if it is daytime staffing levels or just general uncaring nurse but when you know someone is in excruciating pain for 2 hours because all they can have is a paracetamol that lasts 4 of the 6 hours you should at least try give it on time. Most of the time I would be suffering an extra hour. Ringing the buzzer felt like it would make her take longer like she had some control issues. Some people are just not meant to be nurses I think. Home now feeling good and ready to put this behind me and move on. As mentioned surgeon Mr Mannur, was excellent I would definitely recommend him.
