It all starts off really well with this company. You feel like they are listening to you, and are very professional when they are doing the quotes, etc. Then you genuinely wonder if they are scam artists as you try to get a hold of them, and you are ghosted- for months at a time. You prompt, and they eventually get back to you- offering a half-hearted apology and a lame excuse. They will make you believe that they have things like ironmongery as an in-house service. They do not- not even close to it. They use an extremely busy blacksmith service who are about a year backlogged with their own customers/ their own work (the blacksmith company is great by the way). The problem is that the LFG company fully knows about this backlog, and they will not give you any indication about this when you book with them. They'll ultimately blame the blacksmith service and put their hands up denying any responsibility. Ultimately, the work is good and high quality, however the professionalism of this company is shocking. Only use them if you are prepared to wait at least one year for the FULL job to be completed. They are misleading, and unaccountable. I would not use them again, and would not recommend them. The quality that you get is not worth the overall hassle. There are plenty of other firms out there offering the same quality, and they're cheaper. Service: Driveway or walkway paving

London Front Garden Company reinstated my Victorian front path, porch floor, front garden wall and Hever Estate style iron work and gate. Great care was taken to get the style of tiles correct and then reproduced. The brick work on the front wall was Flemish bond and the coping stones reinstated to match the originals. Excellent workmanship and it’s been a joy to walk on my front path for the last six years. I contacted them again this year as my front stone step had been damaged by Council workmen whilst reinstating the public footpath. Byron came out to look and then sent Luci, who had done the original work, to do the repairs. He spent the morning working to expertly repair the step at no cost to me. How amazing is that? I have attempted to contact this company on two separate occasions 8 months apart to get an outline quote or at least further information about Victorian wall railings and a restoration project for our home address. Whilst I appreciate Covid has had detrimental effects on business, I don't think any business should be above dignifiying enquiries with a personalised reply or offering an answer to a simple question. Instead I have received identical (possibly automated) dismissive replies. Poor customer service guys. Update March '22: The company's owner Chris got in touch, was very cordial and professional and provided relevant advice. He apologised for the lack of reply to both requests and admitted shortcomings in that process. At no time did he ask for this review to be edited, but I think the proactive response and subsequent product advice warrants it. Thanks Chris.

The first time I contacted them they scheduled a phone conversation to get an estimate. This went well, I received a quote and I asked a follow-up question in an email. The next email I received was that they are removing my data from their database "given the current rules governing the storage of personal data". No response to questions, just that they are removing my data from their database. I contacted them again lately and this time they even refused to talk to me because "of these very strange times" (actual quote from an email).

We searched for several months for a company that we could trust to do our front garden to a high standard and Chris and his team absolutely delivered that. We have a period house and therefore wanted something in keeping with its style. Chris (the owner) took the time to understand what we wanted and made really good planting recommendations (given that we are not plant experts!). His team did a great job and were very professional. Chris did such a great job on our front garden that our next door neighbour got him to redo theirs! I would highly recommend Chris and his company to friends and family.
