I have studied with LCGD on two different courses. The first was Construction Detailing which I did last year, this year I'm about to graduate from the Planting Diploma. Both courses are led by different tutors but there is an underlying supportive, caring and professional approach to delivering these courses. I have thoroughly enjoyed both. The construction detailing was intense and technical with access to a variety of experts that we could tap into and discuss or ask advice. The Planting Diploma has been so inspirational, creative and career changing. There are so many different guest lecturers that are experts in various subjects that gives a breadth of knowledge and information you would not be able to access anywhere else. I would highly recommend this college and both of these courses to anyone already in the industry and those just starting out. I am sad that the course is over but looking forward now to consolidating my learning into my business and hope to keep in contact with the college and my fellow students in the future.

The course in general is very well adapted for those people who want to improve their skills as a garden designer. You learn many techniques and also how to present it to clients. En cuanto a los profesores y la gente involucrada en el mundo del paisajismo que han venido a darnos clases, estoy muy satisfecho. Todo es muy familiar y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en cualquier cosa, ya sea tema de proyectos u otras cosas. El curso en general está muy bien adaptado para esas personas que quieren mejorar sus dotes de diseñador/a de jardines. Aprendes muchas técnicas y también como presentárselo a los clientes. En 6 meses te forman muy bien para estar preparado a los fututos clientes. Aconsejo este curso a aquellas personas que sí saben de diseño pero no tienen toda la confianza en ellas/os para hacer un proyecto. Después de hacer este curso saldrás con todo lo necesario para realizar nuevos proyectos. Resumiendo, estoy muy satisfecho de haber estudiado este curso. He aprendido muchísimo y estoy motivado de empezar nuevos proyectos.

Currently drawing towards the end of the Planting Design Diploma at LCGD and can honestly say I have loved it so much. The course leader Andrew Fisher Tomlin is personable, professional and supremely knowledgable and keen to share his experience for the benefit of his students. One of the standout features of the courses at LCGD are the guest lecturer spots . We have had a succession of outstanding experts participate in delivering the syllabus and it has been great to meet and interact with people whose books I have been reading for the past few years! Additionally we have had the benefit of other industry leaders in class on a regular basis and supporting us with our own work. This all feeds in to a general feeling of being coached in how to navigate the garden and planting design itself and that the college prepares one well for an ongoing and future career as a designer. I've always found the tutors and office support staff to be friendly and helpful. The dual delivery of classes both live and on-line provides a flexible system which you can flit in and out of as needed and the day-to-day organisation of the college and classes, including the tech side, provides a really good user experience. I highly recommend LCGD and will likely study further courses there in the future.
