London Bath installed a new shower room in my two bed, two bath flat in April 2018 which cost me in excess of £18,000. Joseph did most of the work and all went well until he came to switch on the new shower when just a few drops of water trickled out. Steve said it was a German rain shower which were not as powerful as previous showers and he and Joseph decided that I needed a pump which would cost me a further £800 ( to be paid up front) as was everything else. I had to switch the pump on before having a shower but the problem was that if I didn't switch it off, water came gushing out of the kitchen taps. The pump was extremely noisy and when switched off not only the shower did not work but the water just trickled out of the bathroom taps. I complained about this to Steve for about two years until ge finally agreed to send Joseph round to have a look. Joseph finally came round one morning in April 2020, stayed five minutes, and said I must have the pump switched on all the time. This was hopeless with water gushing out of the kitchen taps together with the noise and finally after further complaints to Steve about the noise and the water trickiing out if the bathroom taps he eventually agreed to ask Tomasz to have a look. Tomasz finally arrived early in December 2020 took one look at the pump which was installed in the kitchen and said it was.no good and that a new pump should be installed next to the shower. So the pump for which I had paid £800 was removed and the new pump was installed. Steve was not happy because it cost him £1000, so he said, with no mention of an offer to reimburse me with the £800 I had already paid up front for the useless pump.Tomasz then went into the loft where my water tank is situated, told me that the water was filthy and the reason for the water trickling out of the taps in both bathrooms was that the pipe leading from the tank was blocked. I would need to have a new high pressure tank installed in my kitchen, switch to using water from the mains and have a combi boiler installed which would mean me having a completely new kitchen installed. He used a vacuum pump to try to remove the blockage but was unsuccessful. Shortly after Tomasz's final visit on December 21st the water from the cold water taps in both bathrooms eventually stopped running completely and both WC's stopped working. I sent an email to Steve telling him what had happened but in his response he said that he had told me all along that the pipes from the tank in the loft were blocked and that as he had spent over £1000, enough was enough and that anything else would be chargeable. He told me to call another plumber and to be very carefull as emergency plumbers would normally cost a fortune and they would try to rip me off. However I called a plumber friend of mine and explained that I was going to be without water for Christmas and maybe New Year, which didn't seem to bother Steve at all. However my plumber friend came along on the afternoon of December 22nd, tested the taps in both bathrooms, went up into the loft, where he did not see.much of a problem, and told me that there was definitely not a blockage in the water pipe from the tank. He used a much more powerful vacuum pump than the one used by Tomasz which he attached to the cold water pipe in my kitchen and after about five minutes the water came gushing out. All of a sudden after almost three years the water runs perfectly out of the taps in both bathrooms, both WC's work perfectly and the shower is better than ever. The problem was an airlock in the cold water pipe, nothing to do with a blockage. I have received no apology whatsoever from Steve. All he seems to think us that he did me a favour by installing a new pump at his expense. I will certainly never use The London Bath Company again, nor will I recommend them to anybody. After much searching we came across the website for The London Bath Co. We made a consultation appointment for Steve to attend. Within an hour he had created a 3D drawing and proposal with our own wants and needs incorporated into the design. Having Steve listen to us and take on board both the size limitations to create a space that would fit into our lives and comforts we were most pleased. We had several meetings with Veronica to finalise the design and to ensure that even down to the toilet roll holder the whole design would be seamless. Following our meetings within a couple of weeks work began on our bathroom. Tomasz was excellent and ensured that at each step communication was happening with details of works and photos. The completed project is now another space altogether, being both practical and beautiful. We are now thinking about our next project and are hoping that Steve, Veronica and Tomasz are able to do this for us. I can absolutely recommend their service.

After much looking and around and discussing the options with some local builders and John Lewis, we found London Bath Company online. Liking what we saw in the examples, we made an appointment with Steve to come over. We have a small space in a third floor 1BR flat and there are definitely challenges with the antique plumbing, etc. In less than an hour, he had sketched out a proposal that we really liked for a total reconfiguration of the bathroom – removing a bath, adding an enclosed shower and repositioning the WC. A few days later we met with Veronika and decided to move forward with the project. We had a few meetings to go over the fixtures and design and we took their suggestion to use an Italian tile supplier near them, where we selected really nice surfaces. The scheduling of the start date was within a month and Tomasz began exactly on the day as specified. The works were carried out whilst I was abroad, but we had excellent communication via WhatsApp along the way with pictures and questions being answers almost immediately. The work took just over 3 weeks to complete. When I returned, there were several snags that I wanted to correct - Tomasz came over the very next day and completed them all beautifully. In addition to the look and feel of the bathroom, Tomasz made two great suggestions that have transformed it completely – adding thermal insulation panel to two exterior walls has made it much warmer and more comfortable. He also installed a water pump which greatly improved the water pressure and added underfloor heating which is more of a luxury than we had anticipated. All in all, from a chance internet find to a finished bathroom we were really impressed and pleased to recommend their service.

The team from The London Bath Co. worked tirelessly to get our bathroom finished to a high standard. As an old house with dodgy walls and floors, things took slightly longer than planned, but Tomasz and his team worked long hours including weekends to try to minimise the disruption to us. A couple of little hiccups were dealt with quickly and without fuss - they couldn't have been more helpful. The finish is super professional and it has gained comments from visiting friends on how beautiful it is. I would highly recommend The London Bath Co.

So many take the time to complain and yet not enough to say thank you for a job well done in Wimbledon… We chose London Bath Company on the back of a great first meeting with Steve and on the back of their wonderful reviews, which you think …”if I get half of that I will be pleased” but we got it all in bucket loads! It has been a total pleasure to work with London Bath Company, Steve’s design was beautiful and he remained involved in the project throughout, providing the customer service that we all desire and yet so rarely get. Our installation was done mainly by Tanko, but on occasion Andrew, was on site to assist – not only were they lovely people but what amazing craftsman who have such pride in their work, which has resulted in beautiful bathrooms. Payments and costs are extremely clear and fixed - nothing hidden - I always feel the bit that leaves a bad taste at the end of a build is overruns - I haven't had anything like this from the London bath company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team.
