My wonderful Dad was brought to The Lodge at a point in his life when he needed some extra help. I cannot recommend the place and staff enough- from Debbie the manager to every nurse and carer we encountered- we were nourished and comforted spiritually and physically every step of the way. Wonderful empathetic and highly skilled team. No words to describe the journey we have had guided by these amazing humans. I have worked here as Social Engagement Leader for nearly 7 years and no other care home can compare to ours within the area. I am very proud to be part of EFHL staff as we get regular training and guidance to give our residents and their families the best service. We have strong links with the community and provide a range of activities 7 days a week. Come visit! We welcome volunteers!

My grandmother stayed at The Lodge a few years ago and I have been back many times since. The Lodge is a wonderful home! Caring and attentive staff, excellent amenities, great food and a wonderful atmosphere all make this home unique. The Lodge exudes an air of calm and elegance where everyone is welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Smiles all round and a friendly “hello” from staff and residents alike where fine dining and a host of weekly activities are always in hand, and dignity and respect are paramount.
