It was a cold and blustery Thursday evening on the 9th November 2018. I came along to watch my friend coach a session in Burgess Park and was instantly intrigued. I promptly expressed my interests in coaching and the next week, lo and behold I became a coach. I was shy and nervous, I also had little experience, not that any of that mattered for I was welcomed with open arms. It has been a bumpy ride but slowly and surely, I’ve started adapting and becoming more and more involved. My confidence has soared through the roof since I’ve started coaching at the academy and they’ve really helped me to grow and develop, not only as a coach, but also personally. My goal is to develop further and to help children to be able to fulfil their maximum potential by passing on knowledge and life skills. I’m glad I found the academy when I did as they really helped me to turn my life around. I would 100% recommend The Lockwood Football Academy to everyone.

Scott and Fred are great coaches. Lockwood Academy is fun whilst learning new skills, inc how to listen 😁 The prices are more than reasonable compared to other clubs in the area too. My son hates missing a session here.
