Found the living house online and was very happy with the price of the packages on offer. It wasn't so cheap that I worried I wouldn't get much help but not so expensive it was out of reach. I had been really struggling how to arrange our space and where to even start! At the beginning had a good consultation video call where I outlined how we wanted to use our living/ dining room and was given clear information on how the process goes. Over the next few days a draft plan was received whereby I said what I did and didn't like/ want and from there a final was issued along with a shopping list. The shopping list is extremely handy and it saved hours of searching for the right products. I started the room update over the Christmas/ New year (pregnancy hormones!) which resulted in a couple of missing/ delayed post and stock issues but the living house was very good in helping with either replacement options or general support. Rather quickly our room came together and it was exciting to see. Since completion we have had so many lovely comments on our room about how the colours come together and how warm and cosy it now feels. Personally we love it, it truly captured being light and spacious for our growing family in the day to a cosy movie night room for the two of us at night. It was the best bit of money I have spent in a long time, I am very happy and will be returning to the living house once I move onto other rooms in the house. Sophie and Catherine designed our combined dining / living via the Maxi Living package. We were extremely pleased with the result, and I have already recommended them to multiple friends and family. This was my first experience using an online interior design service, and I was initially unsure about spending money on something which my friends told me I could "just do myself". However, faced with a completely blank slate in our new house, and feeling intimated and overwhelmed by the sheer number and scale of the decisions facing us, we decided to take the plunge. I'm so glad we did. Catherine and Sophie helped us hugely with the decision burden, and guided us to make design choices which we might otherwise have been too nervous or lacking in confidence to make ourselves. The result is a room which we are extremely proud of, which impresses guests, and which we absolutely love. The process saved us a huge amount of time, and I also think that, overall, the package likely saved us money, as it meant we didn't make design missteps along the way. To top it all off, the service was excellent. Both Catherine and Sophie were extremely responsive and went above and beyond the service agreement and timeline they outlined in our initial call. The living house have been our absolute home saviour. Myself and my husband live extremely hectic and busy lives both working full time with two children who have lots of different hobbies. We were at a complete loss when it came to decorating our home and this really was quite stressful for us both. Having just moved into a new build which was a total blank canvas the thought of decorating completely overwhelmed us and we just did not have the time or any idea of where to start. We knew the way we wanted our home to look and feel but just genuinely had absolutely no idea or time to achieve it. The girls at The Living House were absolutely amazing. They’re vision and passion for interior design is truly outstanding and they were genuinely just a pleasure to work with too. They are so unbelievably talented and we feel incredibly lucky to have came across their services. They listened to what we wanted and made the whole process completely easy and stress free. So much so in-fact that after completing our first room with them we then booked for them to design our whole house. Our home is so much more then we ever dreamed it could be and for that we will always be so incredibly grateful. We used the Midi plan from the Living Hosue to redesign our living room. Since the first email they have been very responsive and helpful. The project brief they returned to me after our first video call summarised our asks and preferences better than I could have done. They sent inspirations with high quality and variety to make sure their design was truly personalised to our taste. We loved the final design and the moodboard. They also explained what went into their decisions on those choices, so it made it easy for us to find alternatives if we wanted to make small changes.
