It was a Sunday night and we were wandering around trying to find somewhere that was still serving food. Stumbled across the Little Yang Sing and made our way inside. The staff were the loveliest people I’ve ever met in a restaurant - so friendly and welcoming. Very jovial with us and chatty. Made us feel very welcome and recommended some lovely dishes for us to try. The quality of the food was amazing, everything was hot, well seasoned and delicious. The garlic pak choy was to die for! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. It is a little pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants but well worth it. Thank you!!

We went in for a meal.. 6 of us. We had 3 beers, a bottle of wine and a set meal. The food itself was nice. As I have allergies I asked for plain chicken and vegetables with no sauce, or possibly just soy sauce. The waiter refused and said 'sorry we are a Chinese we can't do that' even after me asking again and basically just asking for plain stir fried food... which I assume it the base to most dishes before a sauce is added.. it was refused. So I didn't eat anything, which makes our bill at £200 even more ridiculous for 5 people. I feel the place had a lack of atmosphere, no real interaction from the waiters/waitresses, no background music. When the bill came, we was overcharged on drinks, we had ordered 3 beers ( one with blackcurrant in) and had been charged for 3 beers and an additional one with blackcurrant in. When questioning this, the waitress was arguing and saying we have had this. Which I can assure we had only 3 in total. In the end we just paid and left as they had no intension of rectifying their mistake and we had a taxi waiting outside. Overall I think the restaurant massively overcharges on food, our bill came to over £200 ( £40 each for a set meal) and I wouldn't rate the customer service very highly either. Food quality was okay but not worth the money. Will not be returning. 1 star for the food quality. I have no other positives to share.

Went for a dinner on 13th May 2023 at 8:30pm. Not too sure it was newly decorated; the restaurant looked pretty clean and fresh. The platter was nice, it’s pretty large, very tasty with good selection of different food, definitely one of my favorite starters had in restaurants. The main courses were well made too. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Only one thing, it was probably told by the manager, there was always some staff circling the tables over and over like sharks, probably saw them every minute or two. Once one plate emptied, it would be taken away by someone immediately. It might be the way they manage it, however I felt a little stressed and like they were trying to push everyone out as quickly as they can. Over all a very good experience. Will consider to return if go to Manchester again.

My wife has a nut allergy so we ordered something that stated didn’t have nuts. We then found out that everything is cooked in nut oil. We paid £11 for two koppabergs and they tried to put a tip on the receipt.

From the street this place looks dead inside. But once inside you see the space opens up to a lot of tables. Many were full. The tables themself were fine, separated by a divider that helped a lot with the sound. The food was very tasty. Felt overly expensive to what we are used to from the city. But we left full. Staff was ok. I don't think we had a dedicated person so it was hard to ask for everything until we figured that out. Overall I would eat here again.
