DR’s are good but receptionists are rubbish… The Limehouse practice need to train their reception staff on customer services and manners! Surgery opens at 08:50, called in at 08:38 yesterday for an urgent appointment and phone not answered. Today called at 08:45 and a receptionist answered after a 16 minute wait only to confirm no urgent/emergency appointments available for the whole morning as well as this afternoon. Previously, even yesterday afternoon slots were only given once you called in that part of the day but today I get told the whole day is fully booked. It’s like I get advised about changes that seems to be changed whenever it suits the reception staff or the surgery. Several times previously eventually when you’ve been seen by the DR and explain the reception situation to them they apologise on behalf of reception team but this is ridiculous. Why can’t the reception team just do their job as it’s meant to be?

Some Doctors at the Practice are known to have issued wrong medicines to patients old and young. Shocking, the General Medical Council should be alerted about this. Despite, the Practice Managers knowing of the bad practices ‘of their staff’, they are defending them at the patients expense. This practice has no regard for the GDPR or patients confidentiality, i.e the reception staff ask inappropriate and intrusive questions about our health and other personal matters. Would they like it if they or their loved ones were asked such inappropriate questions?

I had an appointment with a GP on 23.01.23 3:30 and another appointment at 4:00 with a nurse. When I got on the receptionist the girl with wig asked me if I am Evelin I had no opportunity to say anything else before that so I answered with a yes and she asked me to seat down. I been waiting patiently when at 3:55 I asked if I might to called in and there is the lady with wig started to attack me with saying to me, I didn’t say that I have an appointment before 4pm she said I told her I have an appointment with a nurse where I had no opportunity to say anything just yes to my name. I said how do I know I thought must to be in the system anyway…So I asked her not to have an argument what nothing doesn’t changes I didn’t raise my voice any higher than her and she didn’t solve my problem she won’t put me to see the GP what is for I am waiting since December I had to ask her colleague who nicely without problem made the GP see me Her behaviour wasn’t professional at all more likely a little girl who can’t take if she is not right. Not the first incident by the way with her. I think she need change and I hope others will review her attitude.

Receptionists are very dismissive. Will try anything to weasel their way to end a call. You’re better off going to A&E. Poor performance from the doctors too except Dr McNamara who actually seems to care. I’m in the process of switching to another GP.
