Had very good service from the Lighting Store - i'm having a kitchen refit, and needed a new ceiling light. I find lighting is something you need to see in the real world, so wasn't happy just buying something i'd seen online, so made the trek over to Finchley Road to their showroom. They had quite a large range, and the store-guy who helped me was knowledgable and experienced and helpful given my lack of knowledge of how modern lighting tech and specifications work. I needed a light in a hurry for my builders - and they were able to get me exactly what i chose out, delivered to my door in 2 days (as i was on a bike and couldn't carry it from the shop myself). I just need to get it installed and switched on now, but i love the design and it certainly looks the business.

If I could give this store -10 stars I would. The staff are so unbelievably RUDE, PATRONISING AND CONDESCENDING. I have never been spoken to like that in any shop. I would not spend my hard earned money in this place. If you can't be polite and helpful to your customers, don't be in sales!!!!

Spent almost £600 on 8 lights a few days ago. Went in today to pick as they had to be ordered in. Asked if I could change two of them for a different design and the man in the shop immediately became abusive, saying that he could only give me a credit note. There was no way, that I'd ever enter his shop again so am stuck with two lights that we don't need. He really is the nasty faulty towers type as another reviewer has pointed out. Wish I had read the reviews before going into shop, which, by the way, is pretty badly stocked with mostly overpriced tasteless items. Avoid, much better selection and customer service elsewhere.
