Waited for too long to answer the phone. Then they answered only saying “hello” and the line was dropped. So i have to make a call again and wait for another 30 minutes

This GP has really helped me on some occasions, staff are friendly and always been able to see a doctor when required. E-consult is a very handy service they offer. Being in the city centre it is a very good location to commute in and out of. Have a very good dermatology department which have been instrumental in my recovery. My one piece of feedback is that calling in can be difficult and inconsistent. Some mornings you can get straight through within swiftly but also can be on hold for 45 minutes. This is an issue that needs addressing.

I sent an econsult today and had an apt for 1030am today. The staff are lovely and the doctors are efficient and caring. I felt like my Dr didn't rush me and heard my concerns. Every time I have been here I have had the best service.

I had a really positive experience here. Rang up on the morning - admittedly I did have to wait a while to get through, but this is normal - and got an appointment the same day. I was seen to by Emma who was wonderfully kind and made me feel really comfortable, while attending to all my questions and making the process as smooth as possible. Just wanted to post this to counter some of the more negative reviews

Hilarious service. I've been in pain for a week, trying to call everyday for them to say there are no appointments. I called today, 40 minutes on hold, the lady who answered said there was no signal and that she can't hear me, I asked if she can call me back, she said no and hang up in my face

I'd like to share my experience with this practice and how wonderful they've been in the past year that I've been with them. The e-consult service has been great, I've had very quick responses through using that service and I can't fault it, it's much easier than waiting in the phone queue first thing in the morning. The receptionist that called me to arrange an appointment off the back of my e-consult was very polite and friendly, and managed to get me in for an appointment the same day which I was very grateful for. My only complaint would be the phone lines, however from previous experience of working as a receptionist in a GP surgery, the struggle to get though to speak to someone doesn't surprise me. Overall, thank you to the clinical and non clinical teams at this surgery.

Unfotunately I've had a pretty awful experience and there are many points that need to be addressed. I am a doctor myself with more than 10 years of experience in various settings and unfortunately this practice really needs to improve. The good: Doctors and nurses, when you do actually see them or speak to them, act professionally and deserve to be praised for their hard work. Individually they are very good and I want to thank them for their hard work. Unfortunately that cannot be said about all members of the team. The bad & suggestions for improvement: 1. My repeat prescription was cancelled for no reason, despite more than one letter from the hospital advising that I would need the medication life-long. When asked why, I got ignored several times and eventually received a poorly written email full of grammar and spelling mistakes saying "sorry about the 'hassel' " (?!). This wasn't just "hassel" - this was actually a patient safety issue. 2. I emailed twice asking to re-issue the medication and restore my repeat prescription so that I could continue to request it through the NHS app. Unfortunately it was completely ignored. I then followed it up with a phone call 2 days later and I was told by the receptionist that it would get done as a matter of priority. It was again ignored for 3 days, until another email from me. 3. I asked for details regarding the complaints procedure and details of the practice manager so that I could write to them directly. I am a doctor myself, I understand the pressures GPs are under and I have genuine and constructive suggestions how to improve. Unfortunately the receptionists who deal with emails seem to lack basic professional courtesy to respond and share the details, which should be widely available to all patients. 4. All of the above unfortunately happened on more than one occasion, which is extremely frustrating.
