Cracking little pub, shows the football, lots of space inside and out, good pub grub for food, Ran out of beer on cask which was annoying. Plenty of lager choice, but maybe just add an extra couple of lines on the cask choice.

Poor customer service, slow and long waiting times for food. Waited an hour and a half for two burgers and the manager did nothing about this/obviously didn’t care there were unhappy customers requesting refunds. Another customer had waited two hours to receive his food while we raised a complaint. We were told the food would be out ‘soon’ after waiting an already unacceptable time and took chasing three different people before anything was actually done about this. No discount offer for a wait, not even offered an apology. The manager was more interested in standing at the end of the bar eating instead of running food/helping the kitchen get food out to people waiting ridiculous times. When my partner had initially tried to raise the concern she walked away and ignored him even though he was clearly waiting to be seen at the bar. Abysmally run. Apathetic staff with terrible attitudes. We won’t be coming back and recommend people do not waste their time coming here.

Our experience here was not a good one. For no apparent reason, we were made to feel very unwelcome by the staff, particularly the manager who seemed to lead her bar staff in this direction after we asked why we were being served our drinks in plastic cups. It climaxing with her ordering a member of her staff to tell us the bar was closed in an obvious attempt to get us to leave when it was clear it wasn’t..
