As the only pub in the village it has a captive audience. Three ales on offer but only two available. Garden was nice but unclean with dried bird muck on the table. The servers were very young, but happy to serve. Live music was a nice touch. A tidy up and a touch of TLC inside could make this place 5 star

Very expensive for the location of the accommodation, cooked breakfast not included and continental breakfast is poor. Beer garden is lovely and parking is great.

I usually love this pub so was excited to have Sunday roast outside (party of 6 of us). Had to go inside to get some menus and then found out they weren't serving food outside. I asked why and they said something about health and safety, but I think it had more to do with the fact that the 6 members of staff who were just hanging about without any indoor customers couldn't be bothered to set up outside. When outside I then saw another customer taking chips out - asked her how and she said you could order and pick up chips outside. Ultimately your staff were reactive not proactive and couldn't be bothered to set up outside in spring over Easter, despite there being in total at least 15 people in the garden. You missed out on at least £150 from our party and most likely £400+ from the other customers. Well done, we ended up going to a competitor who actually could be bothered to set up outside.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful place. The hotel is very well located and has a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the christening meal was partly cold and not tasty. Overall max. German grade 3-. You shouldn't eat there with more than 20 people. For a small group of people I experienced it differently and also enjoyed it.
