Went here Thursday 24th, great challenging golf course, guy at the pro shop was more than welcoming did everything to ensure I had a good round, warned me about holes that had work being done on them and how to play some of the trickier holes, other courses in the area I had been treated like a second class citizen when I went to see what it was like, the course itself is awesome, not easy but great day out, for people the are more fussy the course is under considerable renovation, however I did not find this to dampen my experience, I reckon within 12 months this will be one of the best courses in the south of England without doubt, had a great day, loved every minute, welcoming community and staff, this is what golf is about… side note driving the green on the 17th was an incredible feeling, thanks to all, will be back soon

As my wife and I are past members of Leatherhead golf club, and were literally passing the entrance, and knowing from past experience the high quality of food and surroundings, we decided to have lunch there. As my wife is registered disabled we looked for, and could not find a dedicated disabled bay. However after parking, we did discover a disabled sign attached to a wooden post that was half falling over. There were no lines painted on the road surface to denote a parking bay, as required, the slope to the main door was far too severe for my wife to enter the club by, and the rear doors to the lounge had high steps which made entry difficult. In the past the club boasted a relaxing and comfortable furnished lounge. However what we found was disappointing as the club’s furnishings are now far too formal and reminded me of a conference centre. However we ordered food. Mine consisted of chicken in a wrap, which was overcooked. My wife’s was an even greater surprise, as what turned up was not what she had ordered. This was in spite of waiting 40 minutes in a lounge where there was only one other table, which had already been served, and 2 tables on the terrace that ordered food after us. In addition the cutlery was dirty and I didn’t want to use it. On the plus side the bar staff were extremely courteous, and despite having served my wife the incorrect meal, she eventually got what she had ordered. My wife would have liked to use the facilities but we could not find any disabled toilets. Perhaps we have a romanticised memory of the club, but in reality what we saw and experienced was nowhere near the quality that we remember.
