I cannot enough recommend Gerry Gallagher and the Leather Surgeons team. On the level of craftsmanship, they are unparalleled in their expertise, especially when it comes to Chanel. (Gerry, who has worked with hundreds of thousands of bags, is also the US leading expert on Chanel authentication.) They have made my old, broken, and sometimes dirty bags look new again, which never ceases to amaze me. I am most grateful, however, for their generosity; they have gone far beyond the call of duty. One example: Leather Surgeons originally quoted me for only leather grafts to fix the below bag. When they got the bag in, it became clear that it was necessary to fully replace the piping--a much more labor intensive job. They could have easily charged me extra, but they didn't. Gerry has answered so many of my questions over the course of many generous conversations. Thank you to the Leather Surgeons for your patience and generosity. I always look forward to working with you!
