Harvey and The Lawn Company recently laid 2 lawns (front and back) for us. At every stage the process was seamless, informative and utterly professional. Both lawns stripped, prepared with several tons of topsoil laid prior to laying the turf. It was explained that all turf was grown specifically by and for The Lawn Company and on examination was exceptional quality. Harvey and the guys worked extremely hard and were always willing to change layout as we changed our minds etc. I cannot fault the company, personnel or quality of product and would highly recommend anyone using their services. Thought id use somebody local to me as i wanted that reasurance that turf would be a better cared for....turf turned up on the back of a lorry from god knows where...not local!, asked if driver could ring me an hour before arrival, which was agreed on order....no phone call, no invoice and he couldnt have been anymore unhelpful, dumped it on entrance to driveway. Turf was warm and stank like compost heap, clearly had been sitting around some while on the pallet. Good job i over estimated area or i would be asking them to return it....Poor service and product! ....i moved the turf and watered first thing when i got home that Friday evening as i need to park my works van off road on harcored driveway.....it had barely sat there for 6hrs and yet somebody saw it Saturday in same place, my family and neighbours would not concur!.....i have given an honest review, your responce whilst unstandable is filled with lies....Thankfully with allot of time and effort my lawn now looks plush and green, so for that im truly grateful!.....still waiting for that invoice you promised to send me, should have been recorded on the mobile phone conversation we had....which incidently you needed to make me aware of at the start of the call?
