Loved our stay here. Absolutely not what I expected at all. First of all I managed to get a parking space out the front! Yay. There are 4 spaces that you could get at pure luck. The room was massive. So clean. I love the building and it's décor - very old fashioned. However the rooms are very modern. I love the little personal touches. A basket in the bathroom with sanitary towels, a razor etc. All little bits people forget. Ther staff were lovely. There is a lift inside the building but stairs to get into the hotel. It's situated in between the pier and marina. However its closer to the pier side. I walked to both and the marina is about a 25 min walk whereas pier is about 10. Random things to know about the hotel - you hand your key in everytime you go out. The keys are the original old fashioned keys so they stay in reception. You can't take takeaways into your room. You have to eat them in the dining room but that is open all night and free to use cutlery etc. I'd absolutely come back here. My son loved it too.
