As a recent guest of the hotel, I was disappointed to find that the customer service I received fell far below my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service from the front desk and concierge teams was subpar, and it only went downhill from there. To make matters worse, I encountered a problem with my room and reached out to the managers for assistance. Unfortunately, despite my repeated attempts to follow up, they did not get back to me. This lack of communication only added to my frustration and disappointment with my stay. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and receive quality service, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my stay. It's a shame that such a lovely hotel is let down by poor customer service, which can make or break a guest's experience. Overall, my stay was not a positive one, and I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. It's important for hotels to prioritize guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly, and I hope that this feedback is taken seriously so that future guests do not have a similar experience.

Stayed here for two nights for my wedding. The hotel is nice, no doubt. However the staff is mostly rude, for no reason. Particularly bad was the restaurant/breakfast buffet; avoid breakfast there if you can. Also, watch out: the service is not 5 stars, but the prices definitely are. We had 3 prosecco glasses and two breakfasts for a total of £180 of extras. I wouldn’t have minded at all if the experience hadn’t been so disappointing.

Lovely hotel, clean facilities, children friendly. Only thing I would suggest is to remove the note from tables telling guests that they will be charged £20 per head when using the restaurants. For hotels this nature I believe this could have been avoided. Didn’t use rooms but have seen them and they look lovely! The new refurbishment has definitely paid off!
