Hello All 48 hours after having knee surgery (01.05.2023) I feel good if a little sore as expected. The level of care I received throughout my stay at Lancaster was second to none right through from reception the porter, nurses, kitchen staff, anaesthetist, physio and Paul Maguire and his excellent team. As a day case I too felt at ease from start to finish. The nurses Vicky and Louisa who were both very personable made what can be a stressful time so easy. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone I know. A star all round. :)

I had a hip replacement in April 2023. I cannot praise highly enough how the whole team work together to make sure your concerns are answered and your needs are met. The communication between all teams is very good. The surgeon Mr Radcliffe answered all questions very clearly and kindly. He visited every morning after surgery, as did his team. The anaesthetist had listened to my fears and took care to make sure everything was allayed making the operational experience non traumatic. All the nurses on the ward were kind friendly and professional. They worked together and helped in anyway they could. The catering is excellent and again staff helpful and friendly. The hospital is kept beautifully clean with friendly staff. The matron took time to see me and check everything was ok. It is obvious that the staff are happy and appreciated by their employer and this transpires in the care you are shown. Thank you all for the wonderful care I received.
