My recent course with The Knowledge Academy left me feeling a twinge of sadness for days of classrooms and books. In truth the course was bought and paid for by my company and was always going to be a virtual delivery, but because of the need to set up accounts with TKA and their exam partners Peoplecert and download exam software onto a locked down works laptop, it all felt a little onerous and 'on me' as opposed to being supplied a course and exam in a good old fashioned classroom. The course tutors involved were engaging, helpful and knowledgeable, but when booking the exam I actually got a bit mixed up with the different accounts and the process needed to book it . I had to raise a ticket to resolve the issue which was dealt with by TKA's Rebecca Ferguson, who was both helpful and responsive, ultimately resolving an issue of my own making - and here I have to say she was excellent, but as for the online training experience I kind of wish it had been a bit more 'old school and paper' as opposed to 'virtual and .pdf's'.

Eden Canarn - an absolute STAR of a customer care representative. I've had the pleasure of speaking to many representatives over the past year, but Eden had far been the best. Very professional, kind, reassuring and supportive of my help that I required for PRINCE2. After my call with Eden, I had felt that Knowledge Academy was the BEST choice I had made for this course. Her gentle, soft and patient approach to my queries made me feel very at ease. The Knowledge Academy look great at first. However the business is not much more than a sales fascade. The admin side of the business is rubbish, booking exams is awful. I completed the Prince2 foundation and practitioner. Course was rubbish. The exam booking was convoluted. I was then informed of an expired exam window of 30 days in which I should have requested both vouchers. This was not communicated at any point. They conveniently have an “exam extension fee” of £400 to allow you to request a voucher for the exam you have already paid for past the 30 day window. Complaints procedure not in place or followed. Customer care, just don’t care. I would avoid The Knowledge Academy at all costs! It is really not worth it.

Where do I start... 1. The Sales Rep was very pushy and aggressive with forcing me to accept a deal that "would run out by the end of the day" 2. I signed up and heard nothing back for a while 3. When asking if I could have some practice questions or where they were stored on the portal the customer services rep advised "if it's not there it means there aren't any" with no workaround or advice on what they may be actually be able to offer 4. I was refused a refund at the time of asking not too long after I signed up and was advised to read the terms and conditions with no empathy to all the issues I'd been having 5. I booked my exam and was given no further feedback on the exam format which I asked for multiple times, which was then in essay format instead of multiple choice that I'd expected 6. I was advised I'd be informed of my result but wasn't and no one contacted me until I rang up customer services over a month later 7. I've complained several times with no reply and no one has replied to any of my requests for a refund for this shoddy service I've received from start to finish! AVOID THE KNOWLEDGE ACADEMY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I am currently on Furlough and decided to invest time and personal money to undertake online course to improve my employability. I purchased the APM PMQ self-paced online course on 15th September 2020 from theknowledgeacademy. The online learning material is not upto to the standard and doesn't have any exercise files, case studies, mock exams as advertised on the website. There is basically no interaction with the learner and I am unable to test my knowledge at the end of each section. The learning material are basically slides uploaded from a classroom training with no further explanation but a lady reading the slides. I complaint about this to the knowledgeacademy customer service adviser on the phone and he asked me to raise a ticket. I raised a ticket for the cancellation but the system doesn't record and I don't get any email that my request has been submitted. I called the customer service again and they asked me to reply to their previous email. I received response now that the e-learning courses can't be cancelled and non-refundable. I lost all my faith and trust in knowledgeacademy and now unsure if I will ever achieve PMQ certification with this e-learning material. I wouldn't recommend knowledgeacademy to anyone who is looking for interactive online e-learning courses unless you want to give your money for charity.

The Kids Tell Bad Jokes
Once they've got your ££, don't expect any kind of service. My organisation booked me onto the BA Foundation course. It was supposed to be 24 hours of study. To call it a course is a joke. It was a series of slides accessed online, with no voiceover and no explanation. Took about 4 hours to look through all the slides. Terms were not explained. Acronyms were not explained. This in no way prepared me for the exam. I've learnt more from free courses on YouTube and LinkedIn Learning. Booking the exam is a Karkaesque nightmare. They issue a 'voucher' saying you have to book within 10 days of receipt. They don't tell you when the days you can sit the exam are. They don't reply to emails. They don't reply to support tickets. You call and they ask you to email. You email and they send you a link to complete a support ticket. You complete a support ticket, you hear nothing. You ring again... So far 10 emails+ 2 support tickets and 3 phone calls and I'm still not booked in for the exam, but supposedly if I don't book a date within the 10 days the course fee is lost?! Utter shambles. RUN A MILE!!! Their terms and conditions are shocking - they can change a physically booked course time, date or venue to a different city at their discretion and tough luck on you. NO REFUNDS! They can convert your physically booked course into an online course worth less than half the value, and guess what? Tough luck, NO REFUNDS! They have no interest in providing a service and no interest in dealing with you - they just want your cash and then good luck to you to get anything worthwhile out of them!
