We didn’t have a reservation but the waitress was kind enough to let us sit at a high top to eat. We had the Sunday roast beef and roast chicken with all the sides. Wow…it was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and very flavorful. The veggies were particularly well seasoned. We then had rhubarb crunch and sticky toffee pudding and it was absolutely delicious as well. Excellent service by the bar staff who checked on us several times.

First time here and had high expectations as it's a sister pub/restaurant to the Kensington Arms. We both had pork belly. We expected a slow cooked and tender meat but the pork belly was quite hard to cut through and very chewy. The rest of the lunch was nice. Maybe would have had a better experience with the beef or chicken? Service was 'laid back' and no one asked how our lunch was. Overall, a bit disappointing.

Popped in here one lunch time for food, the staff were very welcoming. The menu had some great options, I settled on the loaded fries with cheese, jalapenos, sauce, cream and BBQ pulled pork. The food my colleagues had looked great too and we all enjoyed it... Great pub with nice layout inside too, everything was perfect!!
