Nina made our night! We had had a stressful day and journey getting to this location (staying in the attached hotel) and she brightened up our evening with her fantastic humour. She was attentive to our table and made sure we didn't need to wait for anything - drinks brought quickly, table cleared, mains brought appropriate time, dessert order taken without having to wait too long. It was perfect service and we cannot fault her in anyway. Would recommend The Kingswinford on her service alone. We only have one issue with last night's meal and that was the new rub being used on the ribs in Beefeater is a lot more peppery/hot than previously so it's still good but not as much to our taste. (If you do not like spicier/peppery food do not order the ribs)

Tina was amazing, dealt with the 14 of us with ease, truly made our night and I doubt she realised how much as she didn't know the significance behind the meal! Best host we could have wished for, all the staff went above and beyond to cater for anything we requestedA

We've been here a number of times and it's always been decent. Unfortunately today was a let down. Service was slow. We ended up going to the bar to try and get drinks. We weren't advised of the things they didn't have until we came to order. Gluten intolerances are just given a paper allergen list and you have to try and cross check against the menu. There's not much gluten free. As gluten intolerant I ordered the Lamb chops which should come with roast new potatoes with caramelized onions and peas. They didn't have potatoes so I had to have mash, but I didn't get any peas. Lamb and mash... Not a full meal. My husband also had the pot of BBQ sauce missing from his smoothered chicken. At no point did anyone come over to ask if everything was okay. If also paid for a refill coke but never got the opportunity to have a top up. Really disappointing. Even when we asked for the bill they took a long time to take payment and only came over when they saw us getting up to leave (we were just going to try and pay at the bar).
