Lovely pub, incredibly friendly staff and great food. We ordered the Sunday roast, one beef, one lamb shank, and one veggie one. It was incredible, well prepared, and the portions were massive! We will definitely be back again.. just be aware that it gets busy, so it's probably best to book. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Visiting from Australia on a holiday walking in waited at the bar for awhile before someone was asked to service us the young lady was not friendly and did not listen when I asked if the kitchen was still open she didn’t listen to our drink order and we repeated it only to be brought the wrong drink. Our dinner order was placed and as I said she wasn’t interested and only put one meal through when this was brought to the table we questioned it and was then told we’d have pay even though it wasn’t our fault. After our 2nd meal was comped we still waited even though both meals were just roasts. Chicken and gravy was fine but veggies ie potatoes were so over cooked they had hardly any potato in the middle and carrots and stuffed were hard. Very sad experience would not recommend.

Got some interesting Vegan options. Chicken less Steak was very tasty. Had a great texture for a Vegan option. Nice atmosphere,staff very attentive, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
