Big disappointment. We thought this would be a relaxing break during our busy London visit, but we were seated between 2 infants and had to ask to move tables when the family next to us tried to change a dirty diaper at the table. The cups and silverware at our original table were dirty, so changing tables was a plus, but then our new table also had dirty silverware. The electric was out, so the menu was limited. My relative then had a hair in her French Toast (not sure how they could make French toast, but not scrambled eggs). Regardless, we sent it back, and by the time we got a replacement, the rest of our meals were already complete. When we got the bill, they would not remove the charge for the French toast and even asked us, "What color was the hair?" Very odd. They removed th 12.5% discretionary tip, which we would not have paid anyway. When one manager asked us how our meal was and we told her, the response was basically "Better luck next time." Hah! What a joke.

Our tea time at Kensington was enjoyable with a patio view of Princess Diana's Garden and the palace behind us. We chose to have the afternoon tea option for lunch. The 3 tier food that came with the vanilla chai that my wife and I both chose was filling and light at the same time. The finger sandwiches were delicious, the scones were a little dry but still tasty with the clotted cream and strawberry preserve that came along to spread on the scones. To finish it off the desserts were my favorite being the coffee/peanut butter chocolate pastries being the best in my opinion. The weather was great making my first time at this cafe fun and tasty

(Translated by Google) I have to give the lowest rating. Certainly England is more expensive than France. But it takes 50 pounds for 3 plates. The first is sandwich bread with terrine or vegetable. Or 17 pounds for a toast no bigger than a croc monsieur… the second plate, 2 mini breads with jam butter for 17 pounds too. And the last plate 3 mini desserts for also around 17 pounds… easily 2 times more expensive than what could sell in reality… not super good for the price. It deserves 25 pounds max because it eats for a max person…
