Visited this pub at the weekend, nice wine, and friendly staff, especially the manager lady. The only thing I didn't like was the seats, but apart from that all good. Mr Boston lol.

Now known as fish on the Quays? Ok Pub but not much on the menu for Fish. Full of kids with parents that don't care! Staff are first rate under the strain they were experiencing. Food & drinks: As its shown to be a Fish restaurant I thought we would have a better selection than scampi or fish and chips. Service was a little erratic but the staff were heavily overloaded.

Had Sunday roast. Potatoes were hard and not crispy. Yorkshire was overdone. Gravy tasted strange. Vegetables were cold. One of our party had to return their burger as it was not nice. Need to improve their vegan menu as one of our party ended up having soup and bread as that was the only vegan thing on offer then crudités from kiddies menu. On the on line menu said nutroast on offer. Xx

Had fish, chips & peas here on Sunday. Sent the chips back as they were cold. The meal was replaced but the fish was under done. Staff were loud and then missing. The barmen took the pint of beer off the price when we complained. The restaurant was cold. Felt ill afterwards as at the end of the meal could see the uncleanness of the chef through the open door...will not be returning. The meal was also a couple of pounds overpriced. One saving grace was a good location.
