    Zero customer services skills. Went in girl at the counter didn’t make eye contact once. We could hear the woman behind the divider and she could hear us, but made the girl at the counter ferry comments and questions between us. Super weird experience. Yes the item brought in couldn’t be mended, but I was going to bring in a necklace and bracelet that had snapped at a later date. But I’ll go elsewhere now.

    I had an excellent experience having a necklace repaired at the jewellery repair workshop recently. I dropped off the item and showed the damage, the staff were attentive, helpful and listened to my concerns. The necklace was ready to collect on the date I was originally told, and was perfectly repaired. Prices are very reasonable, the staff here run a wonderful service I highly recommend them for jewellery repairs.

    I'm thrilled! I had two pairs of favourite earrings. One I really didn't think could be fixed (a piece had snapped off) and one I thought would be difficult. Both were fixed within a week and given a general service (stick posts straightened, loose butterfly backs replaced etc) and polish and I'm just so thrilled.

    I was greatly disappointed by my experience of this business, when seeking a simple jewellery repair. Nightmare is the best description of my experience. I simply needed a new clasp and safety chain added to a Clogau necklace. Initially the safety clasp put on was so large that it wasn’t possible to put the pendant back on the chain as the catch would not feed through the link on the pendant due to its large size. . The safety chain added was not fit for purpose, as it could not be used if main clasp was in place. This was again due to the error in fitting the safety chain incorrectly. Both errors had to be explained to the jeweller. Finally after three return visits to the shop I had a refund and gave up. There was simply no understanding of what was actually needed from the staff . The whole experience lead me to the conclusion that this jeweller has no real expertise, skill or knowledge in repairing jewellery, even simple repairs. I will not be returning and would warn anyone else thinking of using this shop to proceed with caution before leaving your precious jewellery here.
