What an absolutely fantastic hospital. My daughter was brought in to A&E after a motorbike accident, she was dealt with straightaway and with great care, the team at A&E really put our minds at ease and treated us all (my daughter, husband and I) with the greatest care. My daughter was taken to children's PCCU where she stayed for a week. The team there were phenomenal, they sorted out a room for us parents so that we could stay in the hospital (we live 90 miles away) and gave us toiletries as we had had no chance to get anything like that. The PCCU team treated us all with the utmost care, answered all our questions and treated our daughter like a superstar. The doctors were superb, really thorough and explained things clearly to us. The kitchen team made sure that we were all fed and happy all the time we were here and the hospital itself is spotlessly clean at all times. The team here made a terrifying experience for us into something that was manageable and they were very reassuring at all times. If you're going to have an accident and need hospital care Middlesbrough is the place to do it. The best hospital experience we've ever had bar none. The best hospital team we've ever met bar none.
