Our second year staying at the Jack Russell. Maintain consistently high standards. Stunning traditional pub atmosphere with an excellent restaurant. The rooms are amazing, clean and well-decorated. Staffs are very friendly and a plus for the beautiful and well-behaved dogs. ❤️

Popped in for a drink so can't comment on the accommodation or restaurant. Stunning setting, beautiful gardens, surrounding countryside is possibly the best the South has to offer on a sunny day. Had a flick through the menu for a possible return but extremely limited on the veggie options? Mac cheese or mac cheese. A risotto or nut roast added would be good. Will be back for a Sunday drink whilst out on the bike 🏍️ but will defer on the nosh until the menu's expanded a little. Fab place though

Found this place by pure accident, my girlfriend booked this for me as a treat. From the moment we walked in it was sublime, what a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms that we have stayed in, 3 in total, are amazingly clean, tidy and well thought out, the beds are comfortable and I just wish we could have checked out later. The area is very calming yet not to far away from other places yet you will think you are in the middle of nowhere 😉.
