Very disappointed with our experience at the Ivy. The food was delicious, however, the service was lackluster. After being seated, we were greeted by a very pretentious waiter. When asking a question about one of the dishes and explaining we hadn’t had one of the menu items before, the waiter questioned us by saying “well, why not?”. He also seemed to imitate our American accents by repeating our orders back to us and actually laughed after asking what one of our guests names was. Upon leaving, one of our guests decided to re enter the restaurant after only a couple seconds to use the restroom and was stopped by the doorman asking if she had a reservation. Upon responding that we had just finished our meal and she wanted to use the restroom before leaving, in a very condescending fashion, he asked “how can I help you” and “do you have a reservation” multiple times seemingly ignoring her response each time. The food can only make up for the poor treatment so much.

Ordered the monkfish and was very disappointed to see it was mostly cauliflower. Was not worth the price, would recommend a different option.

We went here yesterday, for some reason the waitresses do not feel the need to write down your order which results in the wrong drinks and food being served. Seriously this needs a rethink.
