Over priced £9 for a bottle of water . Not a massive choice on the menu. Good service though and the toilets are beautiful! Bucket list tick but definitely wouldn't return.

I’ve been to The Ivy in Winchester a few times over the past couple of years, and although I’ve enjoyed it, it’s never blown me away. However, the last experience changed all that! From the moment we sat down, the service was friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. We started off with the Prawn Cocktail and Duck Salad, both of which were fabulous. For main, I thoroughly enjoyed the Duck Curry, but the stand-out dish was the fillet steak, just melt in the mouth (I have to admit, I did have a bit of food jealously!). The sides as well were delicious, and everything was piping hot too. The highlight of the evening was the desserts. We both enjoyed the Apple Tarte Fine, which is flambéed at the table in front of you. It was light, crispy, sweet and utterly divine. Although we worked our way through the cocktail list, the absolute ‘cherry on top’ was the Salted Carmel Espresso Martini. This was without doubt the best Espresso Martini I’ve ever had, and if I’d had the table for longer, probably would have had another! UPDATE: 26.05.2023 Visited using their Set Menu, and I was blown away by the quality and quantity of it. 3 courses were just under £23.00 - an absolute steal.
