A discretionary service charge should be that. Not mandatory. The Ivy showcase 'stealth' tax with no option for discretionary unless you tell the staff to take it off, embarrassing. Service was poor. Food was cheap (afternoon tea). 90% sugar sweet dessert sryle is not a good balance. Do better Ivy. Style over substance. Very poor except the bill which was rich.
