The table service was professional and fast and the food was hot and full of flavour. Overall, I would say the price is high but it is worth every penny for the quality food and experience overall. Additionally, there is now a daily specials menu that significantly reduces the price, making it much more affordable (£13.95 for one main). Dietary restrictions: They were great with my nut allergy. They did have products containing my allergen on the menu but made sure my food was clearly labelled and kept away from them.

Spent a great couple of hours here with my Dad for his belated birthday lunch. The place is fabulous inside, beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. I had the shepherds pie and Dad had the chicken. I had a dessert and they bought my Dad out a birthday dessert with a candle in. Also had a cocktail and finished with a coffee. The young lady that waited our table was great, friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend

We ate in The Ivy Temple Row on Saturday night and we were bitterly disappointed with the experience. My wife and I ordered from the Asian menu, which was some of the worst sushi we’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. It wasn’t made fresh, and it was stuck to the leaf it was served on and the pieces were tiny. The blackened cod, usually one of our favourite dishes, was simply bland. My parents had trout and steak with truffle sauce, which were equally disappointing. In fairness, I had a frank conversation with the manager about the food and suggested it may be better to concentrate on specific cuisine, rather than being a “Jack of all trades….”. She also mitigated the poor experience by only charging us for the drinks since the food was so poor, so kudos to her for the handling of the situation. If The Ivy truly want to compete with top restaurants, then the food has to be a lot better than this.
