This is a great Ivy, and do you know what makes it great.......the staff working there, do them a BIG favour and DO NOT leave the 12% service charge that is added to the bill !! It is taken by "Caprice holdings" and rakes them in millions a year from all the restaurants......think i am not telling the truth.....look it up online. Leave a cash tip.

Sunday evening here was poor. Such a shame as it's been so good previously. Over 20 minutes to make a cocktail and the restaurant seemed no more than half full. Front of house service and bar really poor. Totally uninterested attitude.

Had a lovely Birthday meal here for my wife, Lots of choice and some good value set meal options. Staff are very well trained and attentive. I only mentioned once during the booking process that it was my wifes 75th birthday but they responded on the night with a small cake and candle during the dessert course. Thank you all at the Ivy Royal for a wonderful evening.
