The wedding dress was taken here to be cleaned and picked up, with no mention of checking the dress before being taken from the premises. Four years later, the dress was looked at, due to moving house and stains and dirty makes were seen. I phoned the ironing service and they stated that the dress would not have left them dirty and the person collecting the dress would have been asked to check it before leaving the shop. We had no receipts at this point to prove that the dress was taken there. They said the dress wouldn not have left the shop dirty. As previously stated it was not mentioned to check the dress before leaving the shop. They said the manager would inspect the dress, so it was taken back, with receipts, at this point and the manager was not present and they said it was red wine stains and these could not be removed. Most weddings have red wine, so this would not help anyone. |I was told a manager would phone me, I had a missed call but upon returning it, the number was unobtainable!!!!! so I wonder if my call was not returned. There are a number of signs in the shop stating that you must check your cleaning before leaving and I wonder if this has happened before !!!! Service: Wedding gown preservation
