Having had both my dogs policies with Pet Emporium since they were 8weeks old I never had to claim until my 4 year old little man was diagnosed with lymphoma. Having recently renewed my policy I was worried the insurance would quibble over the claim as his diagnosis was so close to the renewal. My fears were completely unfounded. The claims process was so straightforward and at an extremely difficult time 1 month ago when we lost him the compassion shown when dealing with us was so amazing. Thank you from Ernie & Echos Mum

Likely my error when chosing this insurance provider, but you'd think by paying for vet fee coverage that they would actually cover them. Unfortunately they only cover external injuries, yet do not define what an external injury is. My horses medical bills are stacking and they have been useless because my horses swollen leg/ankle is not considered an external injury......so all payments for severe swelling and lameness are now coming from me. Do not recommend them. Expensive insurance considering pretty much nothing useful is covered.

Legitimate claim for the sad loss of our poor 8 year old Cat, the vet advising to put our loved one to sleep after suffering a blood clot which was untreatable ... this company not accepting liability... like they didnt even read the claim form that our vet completed on our behalf... 2 cats with them for over 5 years , not any more ... dont use them ... they dont pay out and certainly don't have hearts ... picture is his last few hours with us 😒

Absolutely shocking and a potential scam!! This company set up a trailer policy for me. Two months later they wrote to me saying it had been cancelled for non payment. No warning, no comms about problems. I called, they reinstated my policy and corrected my details (so I was told). A month on and the same problem again. My bank told me they had not received a Direct Debit. I called again and spoke to a polite but clueless individual and asked for a manager to call me back. Someone did. They knew all about my policy and I decided to pay it on my card for the whole year. The payment was never taken from my bank. But on the same day 3 transactions were taken to pay an Online Casino!! My bank cancelled and refunded. I immediately emailed Insurance Emporium, not just about the terrible service but about the fraudulent payments. I expected them to be very concerned. They simply haven't replied. My account still says payment monthly and does not show my payment. Absolutely disgraceful.

During all this time I have unfailingly found their prices very reasonable, their claims assessment process easy and prompt to pay out, and their telephone operatives helpful, friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend them strongly to anyone considering comparative insurers.
