Lucy and the team were truly a gift to us in a really difficult time of our lives. From the very first phonecall which I made together with my mum before she passed away, to the service itself, we felt in such safe hands. It really gave comfort to my mum in that moment. Lucy clearly has an incredible depth of knowledge and sensitivity. She shared a lot of really useful information with us about what we needed to do to prepare, but did so both professionally and sensitively in a way that felt manageable. Then she helped us to work through the logistics with respect for our grieving process, but also the timelines we wanted to work to. The level of attention for my mum's wishes was outstanding.

Lucy (owner & Director) and her crew were very understanding, kind, gentle, respectful, and most of all, put my darling wife first. My wife herself chose Lucy as her funeral director in the weeks leading up to her death - as The Individual Funeral Company excel in providing natural burial options -as well as the more traditional options - and Jane was very keen on having a natural burial - even down to having a cardboard coffin! On Lucy's advice, we chose a natural burial site in Leafield, near Witney (Oxfordshire) - which is stunningly, breath-takingly beautiful (Fairspear Natural Burial Ground - thank you as well Helen) and Jane now resides - as she wanted - in glory & beauty in the Cotswolds, amongst splendour - and the sound of horses in the background. Perfect. Thank you so, so much Lucy - you made this terrible, heart wrenching, traumatic time a little easier for all of us - especially my beloved wife, who you looked after so well. I will be forever in your debt.
