So to be fair I visited The Hydrant for a quick pint. They have many beers to choose from and they allow you to sample them until you find the one you want. The inside is uniquely decorated. The bartender was friendly. My favorite was the patio, which is right under the monument.

They add a service charge without warning. I went up to the bar and ordered food, checked my receipt and saw they had charged me a 12.50% service charge without telling me! When I challenged this with the barman he basically said "well what would you like me to do about it?". Be very careful when visiting here
