Simple review really. The general manager was just rude, we were completely ignored, he was dismissive to my fiancée when we asked about a wedding. Arrogant and just wouldn't even apologise at the end of the night. Absolutely disgusting attitude. We are local and took family who were visiting for the coronation (12 of us in an empty restaurant) but will never be returning.

Rooms: Beautifully recently decorated room and en suite (superbly fitted) 1st class....... Loved it! Indeed the whole hotel is impressive in furnishing and decor and staff!! Thankyou 😊 Food & drinks: The food was absolutely top class as was the wine. Could find no fault..... I have nothing but praise for The General. The precision with the breakfast was also very notable........ beautifully presented and quality ingredients cooked perfectly!!
