Admitted today for full knee replacement surgery. From the minute I arrived I was treated wonderfully by every member of staff from Consultant , theatre staff, nurses, support workers and domestic staff . Nothing was too much trouble . As a first time patient about to undergo a major operation I will admit to being nervous in the run up to the day of the procedure. Please be assured the fear of the unknown is far worse than the experience itself. This is down to the staff at the hospital. If I happen to need the left knee replacing in future I will attend willingly. A heartfelt thank you to all concerned.
