FAQ

What safety measures do you have in place to ensure the safety of skateboarders in your park?

At The House Skate Park, we take safety very seriously. We require all skateboarders to wear helmets and pads while in the park. We also have staff members on duty at all times to monitor the park and ensure that everyone is following the rules and staying safe. In addition, we have designed the park with safety in mind, with features and obstacles that are appropriate for all skill levels.

What is the student-to-instructor ratio in your classes?

We strive to maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio in all of our skating classes to ensure that each student receives individual attention and instruction. Our ratio varies depending on the class and the skill level of the students, but we generally aim for no more than 6 students per instructor.

How do you assess the progress of students in your skating programs?

We use a variety of methods to assess the progress of our skating students. Our instructors provide regular feedback to students during classes, and we also use periodic assessments and evaluations to track progress over time. We believe in setting achievable goals and celebrating the successes of our students, no matter how small.

Are there specific rules and regulations that users must follow while in the park?

Yes, we have a set of rules and regulations that all skateboarders must follow while in the park. These rules are designed to ensure the safety of everyone in the park and to promote a positive and respectful environment. Some of the rules include wearing helmets and pads, respecting the other skaters in the park, and not using drugs or alcohol while in the park. We enforce these rules strictly to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone in the park.

Good skate park, super friendly staff . Not used the coffee machine yet but looks serious. Also, separate area for beginners is great.

2023 - Still a beautiful & awesome place 2022 Review - I broke my wrist badly in 2018 at House. The staff were awesome, above and beyond. They looked after my son and myself, even taking me to hospital. I'm back skating again (with wrist guard) and still loving it aged 47. There's been some changes to the park with new ramps & banks and if anything it's better than before. A great skatepark with outstanding staff! 2018 Review - My son has recently started having lessons here (thanks Luke & JP) and I'm skating again too. A nice park and great bowl, really friendly atmosphere. All staff and coaches are great and super helpful.
