Very straight forward to book and do and we are really delighted with the results. We had inherited a much fought over comfy Family chair which need a bit of tlc and an update. So that we didn't stick it the garage because we didn't like the fabric and scared of the costs we went ahead and googled and contacted firms. Martin was the only person to reply! Petra visited with some sample books and was very helpful with advice on colour and style. Her expertise is in antiques and she was able to tell us the chair didn't actually come with a big cushion on the back. When we saw it without we could see she was right and actually preferred it without. My husband had grown up visiting his grandparents with it in red velvet and so we returned to that with a modern twist with the contrasting orange piping. Considering Petra's visit, her time, the chair being collected, reupholstered and delivered back to us I think it was really great value for money. Thank you so much

They were very quick to respond to my enquiry with a quote, helped pick out some fabric and they managed to fit my job in between some bigger jobs so that was a bonus. The price included collection and delivery and we were so happy with the end result it was professionally done and was a brilliant transformation. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and made me feel very welcome when visiting their site. We would highly recommend for any upholstery work.

We had two rocking chairs that belonged to grandparents and wanted to restore them without modernising them too much. Petra and her team did a fantastic job from helping us choose the new fabric to ensuring they were restored sympathetically and in keeping how they would have looked when new. The service also included replacing all of the foam and cushion supports that were worn out. They are now so comfortable and really look great. A big thank you from us, I would 100% recommend Gadsby Design to anyone who loves their furniture. Great personal service and tremendous value for money.

I'm delighted with my reupholstered chair . The whole process was very professional and easy. Petra came to the house to look at the piece of furniture and delivered it back to me when ready. It had previously been refurbished some years ago using modern materials when it is an antique piece . Petra offered me the choice of modern materials or the option of using more traditional materials , which I opted for. The finished product looks lovely.
