We asked Pete to do our snagging inspection a few weeks after moving in. He was very engaging from the off when asked about the merits of snagging at any stage. Clear and deliberate about what we can expect. He was able to fit us in on short notice (a bit of luck as he appears to be pretty busy - a good sign) demonstrating his flexibility. He came and went about his work in a diligent manner and was respectful of our space (a definite bonus). He has a good eye and picked up a number of things that our untrained eyes would not have spotted as a 'snag'. Alongside this, the communication around and the speed of production of the snagging report cannot be faulted - I had it by the end of the same day that Pete attended. It is not hyperbole to say that his work has saved us hundreds or even thousands of pounds and untold hours in the future. We are very happy to recommend The House Inspector Ltd for the quality and value of the work. An additional benefit is that Pete is a keen runner and is seeking to raise funds for charity through his efforts. I'm in favour of engaging firms supporting the community and society in general. I'd have no issues recommending this firm.

Pete (The House Inspector) has carried out a number of jobs for us over the last few years, including modernising an annex, replacing coping stones on a flat roof and most recently replacing wooden gate posts with brick. In all cases the work completed has been excellent. Pete is also well connected within the building industry and able to identify and recommend people from additional trades where these are needed. Pete is extremely knowledgeable and works tirelessly on jobs to get them completed. He has identified and solved problems for us when others have failed, and always explains things in a way novices like me can understand. He's truly someone you can rely on and trust in.
