Quite big for a micropub. More a modern bar/pub. Was there lunchtime and there were a few older locals sitting around chatting. There were 4 ales, I sampled 2 and they were in good condition. The guy behind the bar was helpful and informative. Apart from the ales there were 8 taps serving a variety of craft beers and lagers plus a fizzy cider. Still cider was also available. Initially I had some reservations about this place but decided after a while that it was excellent

We came to town on a cruise ship and found this place on the edge of Market Square in Dover. Opens early afternoon but still a great place for an afternoon beer, especially local brews on tap. Owners are friendly and helpful. Make the effort to find it.
