I called to query a price drop on one of their products a few days ago, but I was advised it was a short-term deal and that there is currently a decent discount on the product (there is no discount). I felt the tone to be quite rude, and uninformative. The person I spoke to wasn't interested in taking the product name/SKU, didn't cross check the website or ask to sign me up to an email alert. I asked if it was likely to go down in price in future-chose not to answer. I got the impression they could do without my custom. Sometimes it's good to speak with a company to get an idea of their service, rather than just relying on electronic communications. Anyway no harm done another company have agreed to price match my screenshot from last week, so I will be placing a bulk order with them instead. Shame as I wanted to support a local, smaller business but sometimes its better going with a large company, with actual customer service training. Update: Notice how their response only referenced the offer/pricing issue and not the customer service aspect? Very telling!
